Other Edupac Services for ECE Centres
In addition to the ece BusCare service, Edupac also offers a range of services for licensed and non-licensed early childhood education services. We also provide specialised business planning services for groups that wish to become established.
New Centre Establishment and Licensing Support
- Business development planning and feasibility
- Discretionary grants scheme (DGS) applications (Ministry of Education)
- Community assessment report
- Site assessment and planning (building designs, resource consents)
- Building (building consents, construction to completion, code of compliance)
- Compliance inspections (Department of Health, Fire, Civil Defence, Councils, Ministry of Education)
- Business planning (operational, budgets and cash-flows, establishment funding/grants, equipment inventory and purchasing
- ECE policies, charter and curriculum development
- Probationary license application
Funding Applications
- Advice and support in funding applications
- Documentation and assessments developed in accordance to funder requirements

Governance and Management Training
- Individualised training for Boards and Management Committees in governance and management to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding in operating a charitable ECE service
- Each topic is covered in one day and have a mix of theory and practical exercises delivered in a style that is easy to understand
- Participants receive a resource book for each topic and an electronic copy of sample resources and templates
- Sessions can be run on-site or at the Edupac training suite in Epsom

Mentoring
- Individualised mentoring programme for individuals of groups providing in-centre support for board members, managers and educators
- Our mentors have been carefully selected in order to maintain a professional mentoring relationship, identify needs and communicate effectively
- Mentoring provides an excellent way for professionals already in the industry to pass on specialist knowledge and skills
